The use of precise Geo-Spatial aerial surveying offers the Aggregate industry a superior solution that stresses ACCURACY and SAFETY:

SAFETY: AergoGeoNautics offers a unique service for Aggregate companies in which we provide accurate stockpile calculations without interfering with the pits operations. We capture aerial data by flying an Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) which we operate a safe distance away from the pit. We only need to be on the pit for as little as 15 minutes on our first visit to take GPS coordinates. On subsequent operations,Accuas does not even have to be on the pit premisis.

Accuas will then process the aerial data and convert the stockpiles into a precise digital model.

ACCURACY: Once the stockpiles are converted into a digital model, we are able to produce the volume calculation within 3% accuracy.

 

Data Delivery

  1. .5 and 2m contours in DXF format for the entire site
  2. Digital Elevation Model (DEM) of site and/or XYZ point file with a 1.5m spacing grid
  3. TopoVu 3D virtual model data and free viewer for interacting and viewing the model
  4. TerraVu 15cm or better resolution colour aerial imagery of the site in TIFF format (can be loaded into CAD/GIS software or printed in hard copy) 

Reports

  1. We offer a traditional AutoCAD DWG drawing format for stockpile volume reporting
  2. We provide a document outlining the contours, cross-sections and volume calculations for the aggreagte pit
  3. We will deliver a virtual 3d model of the same pit within pdf
    1. In order to view this, you must upgrade your Adobe Reader application (link provided)
    2. The pdf is quite large, best to view the 3d portion at 50% in the pdf reader
    3. There is also a dropdown for different pre-defined views, please feel free to try these out.
  4. Upon request, we will integrate our data with Google Earth
  5. We can also offer Google Earth integration in an online format (will be directed to install the GoogleEarth browser plug-in) 
The above demonstrate different delivery mediums. We will work with you to provide you the deliver format of your choice. Pricing To generate volume calculation, we will fly your property with our UAV and collect aerial imagery. We will then process these images to form a single geo-referenced mosaic from which we generate a 3d mathematical model. Once these steps are performed, we can generate the volume calculations for the stockpiles. Timeframe for deliverables are within 2-3 weeks from the time the site was flown.
